- To Hatch the Brine Shrimp Eggs: Put a few eggs, some Sea Salt, and a few drops of water in the hatchery. They take around 24 hours or less to hatch at normal room temperature. Watch closely and frequently. They will swim fast when hatched, so capture them with as little water as possible and put on a blank slide, with a cover slip on top. To freeze their movement and make them easier to see, put on some of the included gum media.
